Honda's new FCX Clarity

Honda has a new "clean fuel car" that their testing out in California.

This is the way I saw automobiles and transportation (in general) going into the future.... this car is powered by Hydrogen fuel cells.

It's gonna be pretty interesting in future years to see the innovation hit markets as all the new products roll out.

We've been hearing about "global warming" and environmental threats for years and years.... but many governments and corporations have really done nothing, except take care of their shareholders (corporations.... although, maybe it could apply to some governments as well) as they pursue the dream of continually increased growth.

Anyways, this is a great move in my opinion. When such a large portion of consumers are concerned about fuel prices and efficiency.... business moves. Finally.

Check it out!

I'd love to have one, but I can't say that there are any Hydrogen stations around. Plus, the price tag is a little hefty for me.

Nissan's Pivo 2 - The age of electric

If looks could kill, this one might.

Here's a little peice on Nissan's Pivo 2, an electric car that kinda reminds me of the smart car because it is pretty small.

But this car has a pretty special feature. It's wheel's can turn 90 degrees... so if you're trying to get into a tight spot, you can pretty much drive side ways.

There is one other interesting feature.... the cabin of the car can swivel.... it can turn 360 degrees.... so you want to back up, just turn your cabin around and it's like driving forward.

Don't expect it on the market right away... as Nissan says it's still a bit too expensive to have on the market.

(AP article on Yahoo!)
